End of the World

Why does it have to feel like its the end of the world?

According to Haruki Murakami, the unconcious are strips of data and if coherent enough could pass for a movie. He used our shadows as a metaphor for our memories. Everyone who enters the End of the World are separated from their shadows. It is only when the shadows die that one becomes a true citizen of the town and becomes perfect.

He was right in saying that Freud and Jung only gave names to our unconcious, but the true function remains elusive. Maybe we all want that elusive end of the world that is all in our heads, the peace, calm and perfect world. Every once in a while we get to understand clips from our movie. And as our shadows die, we findout where we truly belong.
